Born in 1952, has attended homebirths since 1978. CPM, LM (NARM certified, also licensed by the state of Washington). She is co-founder of the Washington Alliance of Responsible Midwifery (WARM), and chairs Olympic Peninsula Birth Matters; Chairwoman of Childbearing Ministries in Washington State, and currently she chairs Birth Matters. Now she also is a midwifery educator.
