2011年3月28日我成为well国际英语学校的一名全日制学生，非常荣幸能与来自美国、加拿大、菲律宾等国家的外教老师朝夕相处，我虽然英语基础很差，但是我很努力，每天除了吃饭睡觉其余时间都在“study english”每天都有收获和进步，以下是我参加英语演讲比赛稿“假如我有一百万美金……”与大家分享……

Good morning! Dear teachers and schoolmates

   I am Jenny. I am very happy to join this speech activity , Thanks for giving me this good chance to share my dream with you，so it well become wonderful memory for me.
    Today, my speech title is “If I had one million dollars”
If I had one million dollars, I would divide it into 2 parts to use.   

     The first eighty thousand would be spent on international midwife training to develop the clinical skills and help them become excellent and well-trained midwives. We will organize a voluntary team, they would go to poor medical districts to teach new skills and make the midwifery team strong soon, give better service to maternal health, facilitate normal birth and breast feeding, reduce c-sections and mother deaths.

       C-sections have hurt to mother and baby, but many pregnant women didn't aware this problem, especially in China. The number of the pregnant women who apply for c-sections without any reason has accounted for 34 percent of the total c-sections. This is a very strange and sad thing. So another effective way to promote normal labor is do health education for gravida .

       Well, the rest of the money would be used to build a high-quality school, giving health education beginning with prenatal care, nursing care during delivery and postpartum recovery to pregnant women. It will change the difficult medical knowledge into easy language for pregnant women .let them realize about the body, delivery, rational diet, proper exercise, scientific nursing, give birth naturally and choose breast feeding.

       We would also give nursing skills for newborns, such as neonatal bathing, swimming and touching, and set up good parent-child relationship, let the baby grow up healthily and happily!
 
      These are my dream, there is a nice future. I will try to work hard and dedicate for the people, the dream will come true!
